Flavoring the world, one root beer at a time...

Our Flavors

David Carta, the original Telaeris Root Beer mastermind, has had a lifelong passion for making root beers and tasting new and wild flavors. Here, you will find our list of flavors and a brief description to get you started on the road to customizing your root beer drinking experience!

  1. Vanilla - warm, creamy taste that provides sweetness as well as wonderful rich flavors

  2. Ginger - not for the faint of heart. This Ginger provides a nice kick in the pants for anyone looking for some spice in their life!

  3. Cinnamon - if you love that spicy, traditional cinnamon flavor, then our cinnamon extract is perfect for you

  4. Juniper - this stuff sure has some bite to it! Be weary of how much of this bitter, root berry that you add to your drink…

  5. Wintergreen - one of the traditional root beer flavors, our wintergreen will make you feel right at home when you add it to the mix

  6. Anise - if you like licorice, this anise is for you. More like the lighter flavor of red licorice, it won’t overwhelm you with crazy dark root flavors

  7. Maple - perfect on pancakes and perfect for root beer! Maple will add a nice, smooth sweetness to any root beer you can imagine

  8. Orange - great for experimentation, will add some light citrus notes to any craft root beer without making it too tart

  9. Sugar Cane - a classic for root beer sweetening. Makes your root beer smooth and delightful while complimenting all other flavors

  10. Mint - if you have ever had spearmint gum, you can imagine what our mint tastes like. Use it sparingly to add a nice freshness to any drink

  11. Birch - one of my personal favorite roots, birch provides some wonderful earthiness to a concoction without tasting like a complete tree

  12. Sassafras - one of the original root beer roots! Complex, very rich flavors that add an interesting element to any recipe

  13. Sarsaparilla - another of the original root beer roots! Can be traced back centuries to the first root beer recipes

  14. Beech - similar to birch, not quite as light however. Definitely provides a nice balance of flavor and texture, not too potent or earthy

  15. Licorice Root - for the hardcore licorice fans! This has the traditional black licorice flavor. Potent flavor with a crazy kick at the end…

  16. Burdock - the most potent of the barks, Burdock is complex and rich while adding an element of darkness to your drinks

  17. Agave - derived from the agave plant (used to make tequila) agave nectar is a great sweetening option that gives a different flavor than sugar cane
